1. Our Foundational Commitment to Privacy and Faith

Sakina was conceived as a peaceful, private sanctuary between you and your Creator. We believe acts of worship, personal reflections, and spiritual feelings are a sacred trust that must never be exploited commercially. Therefore, we commit to:

• Prayer calculations and bundled Quran text work offline. Cloud sync, AI and new downloads require internet.
• Cloud sync is optional. Journal entries are encrypted at rest on this device with a key held in secure system storage. When sync is enabled, journals and recordings are sent to our backend and transcription providers; AI messages go to the AI provider. The biometric lock controls app access, but synced data is not end-to-end encrypted.

2. Data We Process

We collect only the minimum technical data necessary to maintain synchronization and your subscription:

• Firebase processes sign-in identifiers and push tokens. We store your notification preferences and timezone for reminders. RevenueCat processes subscription status. Optional cloud and AI features use hosting and AI providers.

3. Subscriptions & Payment Processing

All purchases and subscriptions are securely processed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play Store and synchronized via RevenueCat. We never view or store payment card numbers on our servers.

4. Your Right to Delete Account & Data (GDPR)

Deletion requested and signed out. Any remaining deletion steps will retry automatically.
